Hell's Gate National Park is one of Kenya's most visually dramatic landscapes — a geothermal wonderland of towering red cliffs, deep gorges, geysers, and hot springs carved along an ancient rift escarpment near Lake Naivasha. Unlike most Kenyan parks, Hell's Gate permits visitors to walk and cycle freely through the wildlife, getting up close to herds of zebra, buffalo, giraffe, and Thomson's gazelles without a vehicle. The park's two gorges — Fischer's Tower and the Central Tower — are iconic rock formations popular with climbers. It is also said to have inspired the landscape of Disney's 'The Lion King'.
