Experience Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Ol Pejeta Conservancy is East Africa's most celebrated private wildlife sanctuary, spanning 90,000 acres of prime savanna in Laikipia County between Mount Kenya and the Aberdares. It is home to Africa's largest black rhino population and was also the last residence of Sudan, the world's last northern white rhino. Beyond rhinos, the conservancy harbors the full Big Five — lions, elephants, buffalo, leopard, and rhino — alongside cheetahs, wild dogs, and over 300 bird species. Ol Pejeta is unique in combining a working cattle ranch with high-end conservation; its Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary provides a permanent home for rescued chimpanzees, the only place in Kenya where you can see these primates. The conservancy is fully fenced, ensuring the highest density of wildlife per square kilometre in Kenya, and its community-focused model has become a global blueprint for sustainable conservation.
